Good wings are hard to find! When you order them for restaurants they can be too small, not enough sauce, too much sauce, too breaded, too spicy, etc so my solution was to perfect them from home using our new appliance: The Instant Pot Vortex Air Fryer . The beauty of using an air fryer is you get the same great crispy-ness and taste as you would with fried foods without any use of oils, etc. These wings are perfect for a party appetizer or a dinner. In my case we made these for my fiancè's 30th birthday meal.
Ingredients:
1 - 2 lbs chicken wings (fresh or frozen will work)
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp pepper
Recipe:
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
Once preheated put fresh or frozen wings into basket and set timer to 25 minutes turning halfway through.
In a separate bowl melt butter in microwave. Once melted mix in parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
Once wings finish cooking toss them in a large bowl to coat with the garlic parmesan sauce.
